§20 Online Prevention Course: How reimbursement works through your health insurance

Health is the top priority at every health insurance company,

because healthy insured individuals are satisfied insured individuals. By promoting an active and health-conscious lifestyle, the fund saves long-term treatment costs and at the same time contributes to the well-being of its members. For this reason, as an insured person, you have the opportunity to participate in special health courses – whether online or in person. Depending on the health insurance fund, up to 100% of the costs may even be covered.
Which courses are supported?

In order for a course to be subsidized by the health insurance company, it must meet certain requirements. The provider needs a recognized certification according to §20 SGB V. Once the Central Prevention Testing Center has successfully reviewed the course, it receives the official seal and is thus eligible for reimbursement. Our online course "Fascial Training for More Mobility" meets these requirements and is accordingly certified.

This is how the refund process works:

1. Book a course

2. Complete the course content in full

3. Receive confirmation of participation from us

4. Submit confirmation to your health insurance company

5. Subsidy or full
Receive cost reimbursement

If you choose a certified course, you initially pay the fee yourself. After successful completion, you will receive a certificate of participation from us, which includes all relevant information (e.g., course name, duration, fee). You then submit this certificate to your health insurance provider. Depending on the insurer, you will receive between 75% and 100% of your costs reimbursed.

How often are such courses reimbursed?

Statutory health insurance companies usually cover up to two such prevention courses per insurance year. To be on the safe side, you should check with your insurance provider in advance to find out how many courses are covered under your plan.
